We have consistently been rated the "Best of the City" by Cincinnati Magazine, whenever the furniture restoration/refinishing category came up. We asked them how they determine who's "the Best". Cincinnati Magazine visits similar businesses throughout the greater Cincinnati area. They have a rating criteria for each category.

What Separates Us from Our Competitors

Mr. Wagner is the reson for the success of the Restoration Socieyt. He has been in business for over 45 years and has outgrown 4 other locations. He has been at the large Latonia (over 1 acre under roof) since 1990. Tour bus visits are frequent at the Workshops. It is handicapped accessible with ramps to view our craftsmen at work through glass windows.

Simply put, we never look at our successes, we always look for things that we can improve upon. We lobe our customers' complements but we must make sure that the furniture or project that we are working on is something that we will be proud of and will have enduring quality.

Unfortunately, as time passes, the day of quality workmanship and service is a thing of the past. Not so at the Workshops. We have an entrepenureal spirit and a sense of responsiblitlty to our customers. We strive to be the best at what we do.

We have an experienced staff; most are over 65. Other places may discount these folks as past their prime. Not so at the Workshops. We value our experienced craftsmen for their knowledge, their abilities and their dedication to quality workmanship. They are our most valuable asset.
